A 12-volt power outlet at the helm is one of those incredibly usefull options that I just cannot understand why it was not offerred with this model Trophy boat. Especially considering the very inexpensive cost and easy installation.
I installed this one at the helm (Sea-Dog brand), next to the remote control for the Jensen Stereo system.
Note: In the upper left-hand corner you can see the Mercury Smartcraft gauge which was a factory installed option on my boat. In addition, at top center, you can see the base for the RAM mount that I previously used for my Garmin GPS.
I installed the second power outlet (another Sea Dog brand) as part of the wall cabinet in the V-berth. In the picture above, it is just below the barometer, next to the base of the goose neck chart light. This power outlet is useful for our portable DVD player and also for a 12 volt charger for the hand held VHF unit that I have as a back-up on the boat or our cell phone.
