Here are a couple of pictures of some courtesy lights I installed in the deck area in front of the aft storage compartments on the stern of the boat.
Just a simple 1 7/8" light. In reality, the light is considered a livewell courtesy light. However, as this is a totally waterproof light, that is also virtually indestructible, I decided that these would be a good fit for this location.
I wired the lights to the same circuit as the instrument lights. They are great for lighting up the floor in the back of the deck area without conflicting with the navigation lighting at night.
